The Jamaican forward netted twice while Leila Ouhabi, Laura Blindkilde and Jess Park scored a goal each as Manchester City thrashed West Ham 5-0 in the WSL on Sunday. With the brace against the Hammers, Shaw is now the only player in the league's history to have a goal contribution in 10 consecutive matches.

This was the Cityzens' 13th consecutive win in the WSL this season as they find themselves at the top of the league with a three-point lead over reigning champions Chelsea and six points over Arsenal. Shaw also took her goals tally to 21 in the league this season, eight more than Blues' Lauren James who is second in the Golden Boot race.

The Cityzens had earlier recorded a 12-game winning streak between December 2020 and April 2021. Arsenal later matched the record in 2022 only to be broken by Gareth Taylor's side once again.
