A runners-up finish in League Two has delivered another step up the EFL ladder for Wrexham, as third tier football is returned to SToK Racecourse for the first time in 20 years. There is plenty to look forward to, but for now Phil Parkinson’s squad intend to let collective hair down.
WHAT MCELHENNEY & OLSON SAID
McElhenney has joined the party in Vegas, but has said of lively nights out: “Trying to keep up with the lads is fun but not when Sunday morning comes.” While he may be feeling a little worse for wear, partner Olson is fully on board with the annual trips, saying of linking up with Paul Mullin and Co: “Another promotion next year, please, this Vegas tradition is fun.”

McElhenney, Reynolds and Parkinson have transfer plans to draw up for the summer window once everybody has finished with the 2023-24 celebrations, while Wrexham will also be returning to North America in July for friendly fixtures in California and Vancouver.
